Brian McCarthy Contractors Ltd was founded in 1981 in Ennis in the Mid-West of Ireland. The company has grown from a small locally based construction operation to one that now operates throughout the whole of Ireland.

Brian McCarthy Contractors are involved in constructing significant projects in the Hotel, Retail, Office, Residential, Educational, Industrial and Leisure sectors.

While the company is mainly involved in mainstream general contracting, its development arm has successfully completed many commercial and residential projects and is responsible for the acquisition and development of the Centrum Metropol site in Wrocław.

Brian McCarthys are proud to announce that less than 2 years after they successfully tendered for the site, in conjunction with their Hotel Development Partners Harte Holdings, they are now commencing the construction phase of this exciting development.

The issue of the building permit and the signing of the franchise agreement with Hilton Hotels in the same week was followed by the immediate signing of contracts for the commencement of construction on the site.

The company wishes to compliment their design team, led by the excellent local firm Forum Architects together with Stalbet, CES and O’Connor Sutton Cronin, for the high standard of their design work and to thank the Municipality of Wrocław and other statutory bodies for dealing with all matters relating to building permit and other regulations with courtesy and efficiency.

The company now looks forward to progressing this project without delay, with the intention of completing the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel in time for the EURO 2012 Football Championship.
